Replicas (Installation/Sculptures) 2022

Replicas was a temporary pop up installation/sculptures inspired by ancient Syrian ceramics. These playful two-dimensional forms reference excavated fragments of so-called Raqqa Ware (attributed to the city of Raqqa, present-day Syria, 12th–13th century). Immersed in a xeriscape garden, these forms occupy the future site of the AGYU gallery.
